Rugby is a globally popular sport played competitively from the youth-level up to nations and countries competing amongst each other for the world cup. It is played in teams of 15 at a time split into two categories, your forwards and your backs. Your forwards are generally your bigger, more powerful players who do the more physical labor such as scrums, rucks And tackling. Your backs have the ability to ruck and tackle but what sets them apart is Scrums. As your forwards bind into a scrum your backs form a line in anticipation of your team recovering the ball and passing it off in attempts to create a play or bust through the defense for progress of the ball and a try.

Grandville Rugby is seperated into three sides, The sides are A through C. A-side is the highest leveled and most competitive team of the club. A-side is coached primarily by Gareth Emmerson and Brad Lusk. Other coaches for B and C side are Tom Feeney, Kevin "Rusty" Rahn, and Adam "Boo-Boo" Sheren
Grandville Rugby competes in MYRA. The conferences is seperated by the west and east side of the states where the they don't coincide until State play offs. There the the best of the west side teams will be put in DIvision 1, and the best of the East will too. They're are four division in which the teams seperate based on their success in their regular season. Grandville Rugby has won a total of 3 state championships in its 6 years as a program
