Buddy Valastro is the master baker of Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey. Within this North Jersey, square mile town, Carlo's has become a landmark establishment providing it's customers with elegant wedding cakes, buttery crumb cakes, freshly filled cannolis, flakey lobster tails, and a large variety of cookies and pastries. Carlo's is a family owned bakery consisting of Buddy, his mother, four older sisters, and three brothers-in-law. The reality show Cake Boss shows Buddy and the team making the specialty cakes designed for the wants needs of the customers.
Buddy will personally sit with you and listen to your specific requests and answer any questions. He is involved in all aspects of the creation of your cake. Buddy took on his father's dream to make Carlo's Bakery a household name, which of course has been achieved. Buddy now also has the show Kitchen Boss, where he shares his family favorite Italian dishes. From his grandmother's secret recipes to simple tips to make a more delicious meal, he cooks everything from pastas and proteins to sides and everyday desserts that make dinner a family event.
I recommend watching Cake Boss because it is a really cool show that never gets boring. The cakes that they make are all unique and incredible. I am amazed when I see some of the things they create. Buddy and his family are also funny to watch because they argue and pull pranks on each other. I always like watching Cake Boss when it is on. It isn't another one of those boring cooking shows so if you havent given it a try, watch it next time its on t.v.
