So, everyone has secrets, right? Well, these four girls from Rosewood High School have some big ones. That could possibly lead to a persons death. There is no show like Pretty Little Liars, a teen-filled drama loved by many teens currently. The show premiered on June 08, 2010 and can be seen on ABC Family monday nights at 8pm eastern time zone. The series follows the lives of Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields and their lives of a clique until the mysterious disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis. A year later, they start receiving text messages from a mysterious person who calls themself "A" who then threatens to expose their deepest secrets, which some include hidden secrets they thought only Alison had known.

Ashley Benson plays Hanna Marin, has taken the place of the most popular girl at Rosewood High with the disappearance of Alison. In the past, Hanna was a bit on the chubby side, but later became a bit slimmer. Hanna has been caught shoplifting for gaining the attention of her father. Later in the show, Hanna becomes less interested in popularity & regains her old friendships.
Troian Bellisario plays Spencer Hastings, whose newly-engaged and condescending sister, Melissa, moves into the guest house which Spencer had been fixing up for herself. Spencer is portrayed as an overachiever from a wealthy family. She has also stolen her sister's boyfriends on various occasions, including her fiancé Wren Kim and her current fiancé Ian Thomas.
Shay Mitchell plays Emily Fields, a competitive swimmer who soon befriends Maya St. Germain, the new resident of Alison's former home. After a lot of confusion, Emily comes to the realization that she is a lesbian.
Lucy Hale plays Aria Montgomery, who moves back to Rosewood with her mother, Ella, father, Byron, and younger brother, Mike after a year's absence in Iceland. She knows that her father is having an affair, but keeps it from her mother and brother. She becomes romantically involved with the new Rosewood English teacher, Ezra Fitz.
Sasha Pieterse plays Alison DiLaurentis, the former leader of Rosewood's premiere clique. Ruling the group with an iron fist, the vicious but charismatic Alison had gone missing during a slumber party; 3 years later, her disappearance is still unsolved, but her body was found.
