Homecoming Day Schedule:
7:00 a.m. Donut and Coffee Social Hour (Hot Chocolate and Cider available)
7:50 a.m. Students should be in 1st hour. (Breakfast Service will end at 7:45)
7:50 a.m. First hour begins
8:27 a.m. First hour ends
8:32 a.m. Second hour begins
9:03 a.m. Second hour ends
9:08 a.m. Third hour begins
9:39 a.m. Third hour ends
9:44 a.m. Fifth hour begins
10:15 a.m. Fifth hour ends
10:20 a.m. Sixth hour starts
10:51 a.m. Sixth Hour ends
10:56 a.m. to 12:27 p.m. 4th hour and lunch remains the same
*Court members are excused from 4th hour and can have parents come in and join them for an Olive Garden catered lunch. SC sponsors lunch.
12:32 p.m. Students go back to their 5th hour for abbreviated announcements.
12:40 p.m. Release for Pep Assembly. Teachers should walk classes to gymnasium.
12:50 p.m. Pep Assembly begins- Band plays school fight song
12:55 p.m. Intro by Dr. Morris
1:00 p.m. Intro of Homecoming Court (Dr. Morris). When court members are finished, they can change into assembly clothes for the rest of the assembly.
1:15 p.m. MC introduces the cheerleaders and they perform their cheers.
1:20 p.m. MC leads the assembly with the schedule of events (games) and then updates the scoring of the classes.
1:25 p.m. Student Council picks up red carpet/pumpkins (game prep).
1:30 p.m. MC begins the games
1. Mattress Relay
2. Mummy Race
3. Make-up Contest
4. Hula-Hoop Relay
2:00 p.m. Student Council members/cheerleaders hand out old homecoming shirts
2:05 p.m. MC introduces dance team and they perform.
2:08 p.m MC introduces Marcel Gossett and Bryan Rhodes for Dance-Off.
2:10 p.m. Dance-Off with two members of each class participating.
2:30 p.m. MC wraps up assembly with the tabulated results of the events. MC awards the Spirit Jug to the winning class’s advisor.
2:35 p.m. Pep band plays fight song and other pep songs.
2:39 p.m. Assembly ends and students are released.
